SIMPLE Pretty Princess Crown – FREE Crochet Pattern

20150420_183725

Do you have a little princess that loves to play dress-up? This is a perfect and simple accessory to make to let their imagination take them to far off places of castles, dragons and Prince Charming. My daughter, to no surprise, was very excited about this pattern. She was jumping up and down next to me while I wove in the ends. She still puts it on first thing when she gets home!

Here she is:

20150420_183841

This is my first pattern that comes in different sizes! I used my “techy” hat calculator to determine my stitch counts for the circumferences of the crowns. There are 4 sizes: 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-3 years and 4+ years.

This pattern is written in US TERMS. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

New Hook by Unraveled Ewe

wpid-20150406_202219.jpgI wanted to share this BEAUTIFUL hook that I received as an Easter gift from my unbelievably supportive mother. It is a hand-turned wooded crochet hook in size H made my Unraveled Ewe. Not only is it special because it is handmade, but she had them engraved it with my name…Simply Hooked Mom! I will admit I got a little choked up. How touching and thoughtful!

I cannot wait to use this. I have some new patterns swirling in my head and in my notebook that are anxious to get on this hook!

First in Series: FREE Button Ruffled Flower Pattern

wpid-20150122_205015.jpgI have been diligently working on my very first (hopefully of many) series of patterns. This is the first pattern that I will release in the series. I hope it gives you a glimpse into my theme. This is the Button Ruffled Flower. It is FREE and will always remain FREE since it is my first. The other patterns will be released during the month of February and be offered free with a coupon code at my Esty shop and on Craftsy.com since it is my birthday month!

This flower is a great accent for a variety of accessories. Add it to a wpid-20150122_205108.jpghat, headband, ear warmer or scarf! The button is optional but it is part of what gives this pretty flower its name. With the button there is no need to sew this onto your accessory. Just slip it over! This flower is quick to work up too so you can make several in different colors and just swap them out! The possibilities are endless.
